Dance to the Stars Project -Mission
We believe that dance is not only a physical activity but an art form that allows individuals to express themselves in unique and creative ways.
To provide a safe and encouraging environment for people to express themselves fully through dance.
Dance to the Stars Project-Who We Are
Dance to the Stars Project is a community-focused platform that produces Dance, Dance Theatre, and Movement events that connect the dancer inside of all of us with one another to express ourselves through various creative artistic mediums and disciplines such as Ballet, Hip-Hop, Liturgical Dance, Jazz, Tap, Modern, and Dance Theatre. We believe this platform will help create an inclusive and supportive community that empowers and uplifts kids, teens, and adults and provides a creative outlet through dance for those who face social adversity, including poor self-esteem and bullying. Dance to the Stars Project is open to all ages, races, ethnicities, and dance levels.

The Dance to the Stars Project Dance School was founded in 2024 by professional dancer and choreographer, Shanta Thorpe. Since then, we have been providing high-quality dance education to students of all ages and levels.
