Some of her favorite performances and portrayals include: Ruth - Raisin in the Sun, Ragtime, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, Della - Greenwood: An American Dream Destroyed, Vivian Baptiste - A Lesson Before Dying, Mrs. Birling-An Inspector Calls, Sophie Washington in “Flying West”, Mrs. Cecil Ackroyd in Murder of Rodger Ackryod, and Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday.
Kim is honored to have been asked to be a part of this event and hopes you enjoy and are inspired by the portrayal of the incomparable, Shirley Chisholm.
